CONRAD WEISER SCIENCE RESEARCH INSTITUTE
The Science Research Institute is unique in American education. At SRI, middle- and high-school students learn to function in a high-level scientific research setting, developing projects and research that are meaningful to them. It is an authentic learning experience that brings a student’s own creativity and innovation to learning, while it prepares students for college- and graduate-level research as well as for “the real world.”
“Students who participate in the SRI program are provided with skills-based and authentic learning experiences that improve their laboratory and research skills as well as literacy, communication and entrepreneurial thinking.”
THE SRI SUMMER PROGRAM
The SRI Summer Program encompasses five weeks during the months of July and August. The program integrates a variety of STEM disciplines with a strong Materials Science foundation and the curriculum is differentiated for varied experience levels and age of student participants. The SRI Summer Program is open to middle- and high-school students throughout Berks County.
Our students are our greatest accomplishments. SRI students have seen much success in science fairs and industry presentations at the local, regional, state, national and international levels. Read a few testimonials and watch videos of SRI students at work.
Whether you’re a student-parent, a teacher seeking SRI Certification or a business partner who wants to help, SRI has a wide variety of ways in which you can become involved.
